This guide will help you to whitelist your Hytale server!
A whitelist serves as another method of access control instead of using a password.
When enabled, only the players included on the server’s whitelist are allowed to join.
Note: You need to set yourself up as an admin first. (Click our admin guide here.)
Available command information:
| Command | Description |
| whitelist enable | Enables the server whitelist |
| whitelist disable | Disables the server whitelist |
| whitelist add <username> | Add a player to the whitelist |
| whitelist remove <username> | Remove a player from the whitelist |
| whitelist list | List all players that have been added to the whitelist |
| whitelist clear | Clear all players who are currently on the whitelist |
| whitelist status | Returns if the whitelist is enabled or disabled |
Below is an example of enabling the whitelist and adding a player to it:
- In the control panel, click the Console button; alternatively, you can send these commands in-game if you are a server admin.
- Enter the following command to enable the whitelist:
/whitelist enable - Enter the following command to add a player to the whitelist:
/whitelist add PlayerUsernameHere - You can repeat this operation for every player needed.
If you would like to remove a player from the whitelist at any point, simply run the following command:
/whitelist remove PlayerUsernameHere - All done! These changes will take effect immediately; there is no need to restart the server.
