How to become an admin

Icarus server Administrators have access to various admin commands. After an admin password has been set in your server's control panel, players can become administrators by entering the /adminlogin command followed by the Admin password while in-game.

Setting an admin password

In order to log in as an admin your players will need to know the administrator password. This can be set in the Icarus ServerSettings.ini file located in the Game Panel Configuration Files.

1. Access your Game Panel and stop the server.
2. Open Configuration Files and click on Text Editor next to ServerSettings.ini.
3. Look for AdminPassword and set it to your preference.
4. Save the file and start the server.

Becoming an admin

Once an admin password has been set your players can become administrators by entering the /adminlogin command followed by the Admin password while in-game.

1. Connect to your Icarus server.
2. Press Enter to open in-game chat.
3. Enter /AdminLogin <AdminPassword>
4. If successful, you will receive the Login Successful message in chat.
