Within this knowledgebase, you'll learn how to change your Team Fortress 2 Rcon Password.
Step 1)
Before making any changes, ensure the server is stopped.
Step 2)
Once the server is stopped, navigate into your "Configuration Files", and find the file labelled "server.cfg"
Once you've located the file, simply press on the "Text Editor" button on the right of it.
Step 3)
Once you've pressed on the text editor, you'll see a section labelled "Basic Options", around line 7, you should see a variable called "rcon_password", simply change this to the desired rcon password.
For example: rcon_password "securePass123"
Once completed, simply press "Save & Exit" and start the service.
Your server should now be set to your desired rcon password.
