Within this knowledgebase, you'll learn how to change your Team Fortress 2 Server Name.
Step 1)
Before making any changes, ensure the server is stopped.
Step 2)
Once the server is stopped, navigate into your "Configuration Files", and find the file labeled "server.cfg"
Once you've located the file, simply press on the "Text Editor" button on the right of it.
Step 3)
Once you've pressed on the text editor, you'll see a section labelled "Basic Options", around line 6, you should see a variable called "hostname", simply change this to the desired name.
For example: hostname "My Amazing TF2 Server"
Once completed, simply press "Save & Exit" and start the service.
Your server should now be renamed to your desired name.
