In order to change your Minecraft server view distance, simply follow these steps:
1) Log into your Minecraft service and ensure the service is stopped. If not, stop it.
2) From here, press on "Configuration files"
3) Once on "Configuration files", open the server.properties file.
4) Once this file is opened, scroll down to the view-distance setting.
5) Once on this setting, you can adjust your servers view-distance accordingly. Ensure the number is between 3 - 10, setting a number higher then 10 will significantly increase CPU Usage and lag may occur on the service.
6) Click save on the file once you've finished editing it and then proceed to start the server.
