The Forest server Administrators have access to various admin commands. After setting an admin password in your server's control panel, players can easily connect as administrators by entering the Admin password when joining your server.
You can set an Admin password using the Game Panel.
- Stop the server.
- Open Configuration Files and edit Server.cfg.
- Look for serverPasswordAdmin parameter and add your prefered admin password.
- Save the file and start the server.
To become an Admin on the server, you are required to connect using the Admin password.
- Launch your The Forest game.
- Change the SOURCE to DEDICATED(INTERNET) and search for your server's name.
- Once the server is found, select the server and enter the admin password you set before in the admin password field.
- You can now use admin commands while in the game by pressing the ENTER key.
