May 2018 officially marks our 10 Year Anniversary, and what a ride it has been. Through all of our upgrades and expansions, our loyal clients have stuck by us and we cannot be more appreciative.
Streamline Servers was initially established in New Zealand, with just one single machine, one very dedicated human & a love for Counter-Strike. Our CEO, Nathan Harding, was a competitive Counter-Strike player which inevitably lead him into the Game Server Hosting world.
Although initially starting with just the one machine, we quickly realised an expansion needed to happen to keep up with such high demand. These expansions saw us deploy systems to over 20 locations across the globe. While deploying these machines, we also expanded our product range, which saw us release Dedicated Servers, Web Servers & VPS Hosting. With a successful deployment of these machines and products, we established ourselves as the market heavyweights in Australia, Singapore and the United States.
In the IT industry, you never want to become stagnated as you will soon be superseded and end up behind the times. Like the market leaders innovators we are, Streamline Servers developed our own performance range. This saw the release of High Performance Gaming Servers & HPGS Plus allowing us to provide never seen before performance, giving our clientele the best possible experience. Our performance range took months to perfect so that all machines were stable, while getting never seen before overclocked speeds of 5GHz for our Game Servers.
With so much time and effort being put into building and deploying our machines, we had to make sure our network was up to scratch and couldn’t be harmed by people attempting to perform Distributed Denial of Service attacks. Once again, we spent endless hours configuring our Corero SmartWall device in both Australia and Singapore. These devices have stopped hundreds of thousands (literally) of malicious attacks in an attempt to take our servers offline. In February 2018, our Corero devices stopped 14,838 alone.
